Kefelen Martin

Our good friends Jennifer and Mitch adopted a little boy from Ethiopia a few months ago named Kefelen. They had a party today, Sunday, August 24th, to celebrate his official adoption. He is now officially a Martin. Congratulations Kefelen, Jen, and Mitch!

Twins Game 8/16/2008

Fun times at the Twins Game on Saturday, August 16th, with Tammy and Cheryl. Thank you again, Tammy, for taking such wonderful pictures! I have to say Mauer looked pretty good and even hit a home run! PJ and I had a great time at my first Twins game since my dad took us kids when we were pretty little.

Ray's 30th Birthday Dinner :o)

Thank you Tammy for taking such fun pictures at my 30th Birthday Dinner at Khan's Mongolian BBQ in Coon Rapids. What fun company Tammy, Cheryl (TC), Jim, Dori, and Taylor were! I especially enjoyed the birthday presents -- $30 one dollar bills from Jim, Dori, and Taylor, and a mini-stein from TC.

Happy 30th Birthday Ray!

Well, the day finally came. After three decades, yes, I have been on this planet that long! I had a great birthday. Slept in, went to dinner with some friends, and went to the casino and had a great time loosing money. More posts to come from the big birthday weekend! But first... the birthday cake! We reused PJ's 30th birthday candles ;o)

Summer Fun in Wisconsin

Oh, we had such a great time at the Lincoln County Fair. We went to the Sunday night demo derby. PJ's parents came with so nearly the entire family was there. PJ's dad used to have a car in the derby, back in the day, and one of the cutiest stories that PJ tells is when they were all little and put their handprints on daddy's car. PJ and I took a long weekend and really enjoyed spending time with his family. Little nephew Carson was a joy to hang around with. He's getting to be such a big boy now. He loved the little pigs at the fair and has his own little ones, new kitties, at his house.
